Emma Bliss (she/her) is a life-long Vermont resident, with a decade of diverse work experience in food systems. She has worked on numerous farms over that period, and currently runs her own diversified produce farm, East Hill Produce, using no till and regenerative practices. She has worked with the Northeast Organic Farmers Association of Vermont (NOFA-VT) in their policy advocacy branch, in the local food hub at Food Connects, and was the co-lead researcher and author of the Brattleboro Farm and Food System Assessment. Along with working at ISED, she currently works for Northeast SARE as a Technical Assistant for their Historically Underserved Farmers Grant Program. She has a Bachelor's degree in Food and Land Justice from Goddard College and a Master’s degree in Food and Agriculture Law and Policy from Vermont Law and Graduate School.
